As a business venture, we brought and transferred 11 Alpacas to our farm in Järvamaa, Estonia at the beginning of 2014. The business idea and initial process started a long time before that. In March 2013, we went to Germany to study Alpacas in a dedicated Alpaca farm to better understand the theory and practice of breeding and commercialising such animals. During that time we realised that our business idea was the right one and selected our first Alpacas and brought them to Estonia. Upon arrival in Estonia, all the females were pregnant. On 12th of May, 2014 our first Cria (Alpaca baby) was born, he was named Wile. Wile is a handsome male alpaca, brown with a white face (official tone dark rose grey). Many Crias have born in our farm since then.
The purpose of Wile Farm is breeding quality Alpacas, produce Alpaca yarn/handicraft, to train old skills of wool carding and spinning. You can buy Alpaca-yarn and super soft Alpaca garment from our e-shop and from the farm. Kindly let us know if you wish to order something according to your own idea or size.
As the interest in Alpacas is high, we have opened our farm to visitors. It is possible to see these wonderful animals in our farm by prior agreement. Wile Farm is the founder member of Estonian Alpaca Union which was established in 2014.
